MakerTree 3D event calendar & open-house update
Now that the dust has begun to settle since MakerTree 3D had moved into the new studio space in Richardson, TX, we've now got some space to work with to host some small group classes and other related events for the local Maker community and those who'd like to "get their feet wet" with some 3D Printing 101 type classes on up to more advanced classes.
To help keep the class and event schedules organized and the information centrally located, we've added the MakerTree 3D event calendar to our website for quick and easy reference.
In our classes we'll be covering a myriad of 3D related topics ranging from (but not limited to):
- 3D Printing 101 - What is 3D printing and how does it work?
- 3D CAD modeling for 3D printing
- 3D printer DIY kit building
- 3D printing materials - How to leverage the various materials & their properties
- 3D printers & You - Knowing how to shop for the right 3D printer for you and your projects
- Post-Process finishing techniques for your 3D printed parts
Our first group event will be held on Saturday, May 28th from 5PM - 9PM, and will be a FREE Open-House event as an opportunity to have the local community to stop in an see what we do and what we're all about.
Whether you're a 3D printing guru, or a newcomer to the idea of 3D printing, we welcome you to stop in for a visit during our Open-House on May 28th. Feel free to bring your cool 3D printed projects to show-off, problem files/ projects to discuss solutions, your hardware or any other related items.
MakerTree 3D will have snacks and drinks freely available.
