CS3D gets a new look, new home & a new name.

Company Update -

CS3D gets a new look, new home & a new name.

As the CAM-Source 3D team has worked tirelessly since it's beginning in 2014, we're proud to share our excitement as we migrate into a new larger office. This new office will enable us to begin our group workshops and training sessions with the community and to host some fun and educational events. The additional space will also allow us to expand our service bureau and product showroom spaces, as well as our service center area.

Since the birth of our business idea which was ultimately, completely funded out of pocket, and had initially started out as a hobby idea, we've found ourselves refining many things along our journey. Even the name CAM-Source 3D actually started out as a crowdfunding name for a very similar business concept that didn't fare well. Without allowing discouragement to set in, we continued our drive forward in learning, building, designing, reading, etc... day and night. This along with a great deal of persistence, has resulted in a full time service bureau for 3D CAD modeling, 3D scanning and 3D printing, utilizing a range of different systems. We didn't stop with 3D service bureau work though, we continue to become a knowledgebase for the local community in the DFW metroplex in north Texas and have also incorporated related supples, tools and equipment into our business model over the past year as we prepared to move things into a larger office space that would allow us to expand our retail services of 3D printers, material, parts & accessories.

With this expansion of our business, we'll also be updating our website to freshen things up and to simplify the user experience without reducing any valuable content. The business that we began only 2 years ago, has already evolved into something that has earned itself a new name. Formerly known as CAM-Source 3D, we're now operating as MakerTree 3D. We welcome you to visit our new studio in Richardson, TX at 1000 E. Campbell Rd. at the Campbell Tech Center.

We thank everyone who has supported, encouraged and inspired us. We love working with, teaching and watching others empowered to pursue their creative ideas. What can we help you to create next?
